I think they are doing a really good job of making sure the candidates stay on topic, something they rarely do.

I do wish they’d actually let all the candidates answer the same question though. But overall very refreshing format, I can’t wait for the Republican version…

I like the approach but wonder how to better balance the questions. It seems like some of them are getting more questions than others based on questions submitted.

Yeah, i’m pretty sure CNN has “scripted” by choosing specific questions… but that shouldn’t suprise anyone.

I like the format- it’s interesting. Americans asking questions they actually want to hear answered. I agree with Gene- I would like to hear more of the candidates answering the same questions.

Anderson Cooper is really trying hard to keep the candidates on the subject…

Anderson is really rabbid about making them stay on the question though.

There’s only one “b” in rabid. But that’s probably just enthusiasm. Cooper needs a cane with a hook.

When the candidates had the question about their best teacher, why didn’t they take the opportunity to talk about education? Nothing is more important to our nation’s future than public education and these guys wouldn’t be up here if they had not had great teachers in their youth.

I’m sorry, I’ve never heard such a goofball series of efforts to compliment each other while still getting in the last word!

i think it was very fair and I liked that the average american could ask questions. It is clear hillary came out on top in this debate as the polls confirm my own opinion. i am ashamed that mike gravel is also running in hte sam eparty as the more qualified front runners. he is an ebarssament to our party.
