There was a very funny video from two guys in Tennessee asking if the Democratic candidates worried about Al Gore joining the field. Of course, all of the candidates quickly dismissed concerns. But, take note. All of these same candidates have lots to say about global warming, climate change and the world we leave to our children. How much has Al Gore influenced the direction of the Democratic presidential campaigns?

It’s not just the Democrats Gore has influenced, he’s brought the discussion of Global Warming to the national spotlight, Democrats and Republicans.

How can people even argue about climate change? I’m told by some that more than 50% of the scientists on record say current climate change is only part of a cycle and not permanent change. What does it take to make people believe this is serious?

You say you are fiscal conservatives - but you allow the Pentagon to spend wildly on useless missile projects and a war that costs billions. You talk of cutting the budget, but only social programs seem to be considered.
Cut the defense spending in half, stop this tragic war, outlaw lobbyists, and take this place back for regular folks. The budget would balance, we’d be able to afford universal healthcare (like the plan you all have in Congress - OK for you but not us????), etc.
