I read his book a year ago and think his diverse base - from top Hawaiian prep school to running free with Indonesian farm children; from grassroots advocate in the bowels of the Chicago projects to Harvard - afford him a perspective no other presidential candidate has previously had. My big question is does he have the depth of national and international experience to make some of the huge changes necessary to global stability?
