I wonder if Danny-boy is routing for his good buddy Hugo Chavez to crack down on those opposing his repression.

I suggest you do a little reading from VHeadlines.com, VenezuelaAnalysis or HandsOff Venezuela, to get the true story of Chavez’s non-renewal of the 20-year license. You think Fox is bad? RCTV actually orchestrated Chavez’s 48-hour overthrow and coordinated the demonstrations; the presumptive new president left from the TV station’s back door to take office.
Your tax dollars fund The National Endowment for Democracy which supports the opposition. There have been several assassination attempts, an overthrow, and a recall election, which incidentally, Jimmy Carter himself was present for the vote audit of, declaring it a clean election, 59% for Chavez, within 1% of exit polls.
Here’s an interview from Amy Goodman. Meanwhile, please do not spread the propaganda you hear in the US re: Chavez. Venezuela has oil; figure it out. For the first time, Shell, etc. is being forced to pay a fair price.

Barbara Stanley is correct in her comments. If a television network were to actively arouse the US citizenry to march on Washington and to overthrow the government, it´s employees and ownership would be classified as terrorists and treated as such.
